The energy sector reported a 41.5% annual increase in headcount in March 2022 compared to the previous year and has significantly exceeded pre-pandemic levels with growth of 42%, according to the study.

After travel/hospitality and logistics, the IT/ITes industry performed well with a 27% increase in March 2022, accompanied by logistics, which recorded a 27.3% growth. Sectors such as finance (16.6%) and food and beverage (12.9%) also showed an upbeat trend year-over-year, according to the survey.
