Tommy Pham got more than a slap on the wrist for his face slap.

MLB confirmed Saturday that Tommy Pham has been suspended for three games for his confrontation with Joc Pederson before to the Giants’ series opener against the Cincinnati Reds on Friday night.

Pederson confirmed after the game on Friday that Pham slapped him in the face during batting practise following a quarrel in their fantasy football league.

Pham and Pederson met in left field during batting practise for the Reds at Great American Ball Park. Pham allegedly accosted Pederson and hit him in the face over a quarrel regarding a fantasy football league in which both players participated last year, according to Pederson. Several players stepped in to help, and both dugouts and bullpens were cleared.

Pham challenged Padres’ Luke Voit to a fight earlier this season when Voit collided with Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson, inflicting a concussion.
