The Central Board of Directors of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) reviewed the overall impact of the current global geopolitical crisis, among other things, at its meeting on Friday, the central bank said. The 594th Board Meeting in Bengaluru was chaired by Governor Shakkanta Das. “The Board reviewed the bank’s various areas of activity at its meeting and the current economic situation, global and national challenges including the overall impact of the current global geopolitical crises,” RBI said in a statement. The Board also discussed the activities of the Reserve Bank in the current fiscal year 2021-22. The board also approved the budget for fiscal year 2022-23, it said.
