NMDC has increased iron ore prices by ₹400 per ton, the second such change in less than two weeks.
While the new price for a ton of Lumpoere is ₹6,000, the same quantity of Fines costs ₹4,960. The new prices went into effect on March 8th.
The public sector mining conglomerate last revised prices on Feb. 25 to ₹5,600 a ton for lump ore and ₹4,560 for fines. Compared to the January 30 price, this was an increase of ₹400 for general cargo and ₹300 for the fines.
