India and the United Kingdom finalized a second round of negotiations on a bilateral free trade agreement (FTA) in London last Thursday, with a draft text of the deal under discussion for most of the chapters that will make up the pact, the Trade and Industry Ministry said on Friday .
After discussions at 64 separate sessions on 26 policy areas, both sides have decided to continue negotiations next month in India. India and Britain are aiming to strike a tentative early harvest deal ahead of the Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement by April.
