Higher attritions result in better gains: Naukri

According to Naukri, a job portal, higher turnover has led to better gains as the job market is currently experiencing a huge churn.

Recruiters are generally expected to offer better raises to job seekers in the coming months, and about 40% of recruiters are expected to award average raises of 15%, according to a hiring outlook released Tuesday by Naukri. Naukri’s hiring outlook for 2022 showed that 57% of recruiters said they would be hiring both new and replacements in their organizations by June this year, while 51% intended to hire in the first half of last year.

Also, about 62% of recruiters expect their companies’ hiring rates to return to pre-pandemic levels by June 2022.

Pawan Goyal, Chief Business Officer of Naukri.com, said: “The anticipation of a return to normal by businesses is fueling strong hiring sentiment as there is pent-up demand across sectors.”

From an experience standpoint, recruiters see a maximum hiring time of 3-5 years (67%), followed by 1-3 years (53%) and 5-8 years (53%) according to the learning.

Also, a majority of employee turnover is expected in the experience bracket of 3-5 years (51%), followed by 1-3 years (45%).
