A testing facility owned by drugmaker SMS Pharmaceuticals in Hyderabad has completed a remote regulatory review by the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA).
Central Laboratory Analytical Services is an independent testing laboratory and this was the first remote regulatory assessment by the US FDA. The facility received the remote assessment report, the company said in a filing on Monday.
“As a result of this remote assessment, the U.S. FDA currently has no plans to take or recommend any regulatory or enforcement action,” it said.
