Cyber attacks can be planned and executed faster than a shot, said mFilterIt, a fraud detection and prevention company. “We live in such extraordinary times that a cyberattack may be planned and executed faster than a gunshot. And in this environment, a weak link can compromise a company’s or a country’s core infrastructure systems,” said Amit Relan, co-founder and director of mFilterIt.
In a report published on March 25, the company caused global and Indian governments, agencies and companies dealing with data, internet-as-a-service or any business running on cyber infrastructures to be at risk of cyber threatened and should employ dynamic strategies to ensure security.
The study also said that modern cyberwar is no longer just about public or private companies dealing with a country’s immediate defense, but that the threat is much more pervasive and broader.
Cyberwarfare has the ability to harm governments and entities involved in humanitarian activities and aid in nation-building and nation-building, which has been emphasized again in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the study found.
