The Bank of Maharashtra reported net profit growth of 115% to ₹3.55 billion for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2022 compared to ₹1.65 billion a year ago. The bank said its net interest income (NII) rose 16.56% year-on-year (YOY) to ₹1,612 billion in Q4 FY22 from 1,383 crore in Q4 FY21.
“For the full year as at 31 March 2022 the bank reported net profit growth of 109.28% at £1,152m versus £550m a year earlier. Annual NII grew 23.42% year-on-year to 6,044 crore. Total deposits increased by 16.26% yoy to ₹202,294 crore in Q4FY22,” the bank said.
“Gross advances increased 25.62% yoy to £135,240bn in Q4FY22 and net advances increased 28.09% yoy to £131,170bn in Q4FY22,” it added.
