TVS Motor Company announced Monday that it has teamed up with Kuala Lumpur-based Petronas to form the Petronas TVS Racing Team.
With this alliance, the energy company becomes the title partner of the factory racing team TVS Racing. The team will participate in all formats of the domestic two-wheeler race.
Petronas will also supply its high-performance Petronas Sprinta motor oil to the team, which would compete in road racing, Supercross and rally racing formats.
The partnership is further complemented by a strategic business alliance with Petronas Lubricants International to develop Petronas TVS TRU4 RacePro, a co-branded oil that will be available in May.
