Services exports set a new record of $254.4 billion in 2021-22

India’s services exports set a new record of US$254.4 billion (about 19 lakhcrore) in 2021-2022, the Commerce Ministry said on Wednesday.

Exports also hit an all-time monthly high in March at $26.9 billion, it said.

Telecommunications, computer and information services, other business services and transportation are the top contributors to exports, she added.

“The new record set in 2021-22 surpasses the previous peak of $213.2 billion set in 2019-20,” it said.
