Motorcycle maker Royal Enfield on Saturday reported a 2.45% increase in overall sales to 67,677 units in March.
The company had sold 66,058 units in the same month last year, the company said in a statement.
Domestic sales last month totaled 58,477 units compared to 60,173 units in March 2021, down 3%.
Royal Enfield said its exports rose 56% to 9,200 units last month, compared to 5,885 units in the same period last year.
“As a challenging FY2022 draws to a close, Royal Enfield is confident of meeting near-term challenges and remains committed to its vision of becoming the first global premium consumer brand from India,” the company said.
Royal Enfield said it has a strong product range in stock and firm strategic plans to achieve its long-term goals.
