Rohan Lifespaces wins ₹202-cr. Commercial real estate deal with Polycab

Real estate developer Rohan Lifescapes Ltd. said he had dealings with Polycab India Ltd. completed a ₹202 crore commercial real estate deal in The Ruby, the tallest commercial building in Dadar, Mumbai.

An area of ​​55,383.65 square feet on the 23rd and 24th floors of the building changed hands as part of the deal, the company said. “The transaction is one of the largest direct deals for office space in recent memory,” the company said.

The Ruby, a 1.2 million sq ft development that is a joint venture between Ruby Mills and Rohan Lifespaces, has EY India, ARCIL, Axis Bank as primary occupiers.

Harresh Mehta, CMD, Rohan Lifescapes said: “The real estate sector in South and Central Mumbai is recovering. This translates directly to the immediate post-COVID commercial real estate revival.”

“Also, the real estate segment expects positive effects across the board as employees are back in the offices after a long virtual stay,” he added.
