Former England skipper Kevin Pietersen believes Ravindra Jadeja is another cool head who will make good decisions as captain of the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.
Pietersen wasn’t surprised by MS Dhoni’s decision to hand the Chennai captaincy over to Jadeja, saying the star all-rounder is a great thinker and a very experienced T20 player, giving CSK a good chance to surprise everyone again .

“They have obviously decided the time is right to move away from MS Dhoni, but I’m not surprised they have turned to Ravi Jadeja, another cool head who will make good decisions. Jadeja is a great thinker and a very experienced T20 player, so CSK has a good chance of surprising everyone again,” Pietersen wrote for Betway.
Chennai Super Kings said in their statement that Dhoni will continue to represent the franchise this season and beyond. Although the inspirational leader continued to play in the IPL after announcing his international retirement in his inimitable style, his decision to hand over the CSK leadership to Jadeja didn’t come as a complete surprise.
