Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) has announced a 2.5% price increase for its vehicles, resulting in an increase in showroom prices from ₹10,000 to ₹63,000. The price increase applies from April 14th.
“The price revision is the result of continued increases in the prices of key commodities such as steel, aluminum and palladium,” M&M said in a statement. “The company has taken the necessary initiatives to partially offset an unprecedented increase in commodity prices to mitigate the impact by passing on a minimal percentage of the cost increase to customers through a price adjustment.”
