Musk said he’s “seriously considering” creating a new social media platform
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has bought around 73.5 million shares, according to a regulatory filing on Monday.
Raising questions about free communication on Twitter, Mr Musk tweeted last month about free speech and the social media platform.
“Freedom of expression is essential for a functioning democracy. Do you think Twitter strictly adheres to this principle?” he tweeted.
In a separate tweet, Mr Musk said he was “seriously considering” creating a new social media platform.
Also last month, Mr. Musk asked a federal judge to quash a subpoena from securities regulators and throw out a 2018 court agreement that required Musk to pre-approve his posts on Twitter.
