M. Narayanan on Friday resigned as part-time chairman of City Union Bank Ltd for a two-year term beginning May 4. (CUB) taken over.
The bank announced his appointment after accepting RBI’s recommendations. Mr Narayanan succeeds R Mohan, who resigned Tuesday after serving a three-year term, the private sector lender said in a statement.
Mr. Narayanan holds a degree in Mathematics from Loyola College. He is a certified public accountant, cost calculator and system auditor. He has more than two decades of professional experience in various well-known companies and is currently practicing as an auditor.
