US tech company opens development center in Bengaluru to hire 200 engineers

Granicus, a Denver-based company that provides software applications and platforms to governments around the world to run citizen-centric services, launched an innovation and product development center in Bengaluru on Friday.

This would be the company’s first such development facility in India and would hire over 200 engineers by the end of 2022, Granicus said in a press release.

Granicus’ engineering team would use analytics, data science and machine learning to develop massively scalable, highly secure systems for government and civil society engagement in India, it said.
