The Board of Tube Investments of India (TII) has appointed Mukesh Ahuja as Additional Director and Managing Director (Key Personnel) for a period of five years from 1 April 2022.
Current MD Vellayan Subbiah was appointed Executive Vice-Chairman while Non-Executive Chairman MAM Arunachalam was appointed Executive Chairman.
All of these appointments are for a five-year period beginning April 1, 2022, TII said in a regulatory filing.
Additional director Tejpreet Singh Chopra has been an independent director since March 16.
Mr. Ahuja is currently President of Tube Products of India. He is also on the Board of Directors of Shanthi Gears Ltd. and Cellestial e-mobility Pvt. GmbH among others.
