Sandeep Nangal, an international Kabaddi player, was shot dead during a game in Mallian, Punjab, on Monday.

International Kabbadi player Sandeep Singh was shot dead by unknown assailants during a Kabaddi Cup in a Malian village in Jalandhar. About 20 rounds were known to have been fired at his head and chest.

Sandeep ruled the Kabaddi world for more than a decade and played very well in Canada, USA, UK except Punjab. He was an Indian Kabbadi participant who became famous for his recent victories. Because of his athletic talents and expertise, he was sometimes referred to as a Diamond competitor.

Before his death he ran a Kabaddi association and some followers imagined that there was a dispute between different golf equipments and associations.
