RIL opens Jio World Center in Mumbai

Reliance Industries Ltd. announced the opening of Jio World Center at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai. Planned by Nita Ambani, director of Reliance Industries and founding chair of the Reliance Foundation, the center will span 18.5 acres in BKC and is expected to become an iconic business, commercial and cultural destination, the company said. The Jio World Center will open gradually over the course of this year and next.

A The Jio World Center includes a cultural center, music fountain, upscale shopping experience, a curated selection of cafes and fine dining restaurants, serviced apartments and offices, and the state-of-the-art convention facility.

Ms Ambani said: “The Jio World Center is a tribute to our glorious nation and a reflection of the aspirations of New India. From the largest conventions to cultural experiences to groundbreaking retail and hospitality facilities, Jio World Center is envisioned as Mumbai’s new landmark, a point where we come together to write the next chapter in India’s growth story.”

The company also announced the public opening of Dhirubhai Ambani Square and Jio World Convention Centre.
