Ravindra Jadeja, the Indian all-rounder, has replaced West Indian cricketer Jason Holder at the top of the ICC Test all-rounder rankings. The 33-year-old showed his tremendous form in the two-day friendly series against Sri Lanka in India.

Jadeja was not out in the first Test at Mohali 175 and had a record of 5/41 & 4/46 with the ball. In the second game at Bangalore’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium, the India international had a record of just 4 and 22 runs at 0/ 15 and 1/48 with the ball. He has the highest test score of 438 and the most recent test score of 385.

Three Indian batsmen remain in the top 10 batters: Rohit Sharma, who dropped from 6th to 7th place, Virat Kohli in 9th place and Rishab Pant in 10th place.

Jason Holder represents his country in the three-game Test series against England in the West Indies and has slipped to second place after struggling in the game in Barbados. He scored just 12 runs and took just one wicket in that game.

Kraigg Brathwaite made a huge leap forward, jumping 16 places to claim 27th after scoring 160 and 56* in the second Test against England in Barbados. Shaheen Afridi has moved up to 6th place after struggling in the Test series against Australia.

Mitchell Starc moves up to 15th after taking three wickets in the first innings in the Test against Pakistan. Pat Cummins moved up to 8th after scoring 34 runs and winning three wickets.

Quinton de Kock moved up to number three in the batting rankings, while Kagiso Rabada moved up five spots to number 8 on the bowling charts.

Ravindra Jadeja is set to kick off his IPL 2022 campaign with the Chennai Super Kings when they take on last year’s finalists Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium on Saturday 26 March.
