Nothing Raises $70M in Series B Funding

Consumer tech company Nothing on Wednesday announced a $70 million Series B fundraiser co-led by EQT Ventures and C Ventures. Also participating in the funding round were GV, Tony Fadell’s Future Shape, Gaorong Capital and Animoca Brands.

The UK-headquartered company, founded by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, said the new funding will go toward scaling its product ecosystem and establishing its London Design Hub.

The new investment totals $144 million, including $1.5 million from the first round of community investment. “The funding will be used to partner with Qualcomm Technologies and its Snapdragon platform to create new product categories and expand operations at its new London Design Hub led by Adam Bates, ex-Dyson Head of Design,” it added .

“With this round of funding, we have the fuel to deliver the next phase of our vision of a seamless digital future,” said Mr. Pei, CEO and co-founder of Nothing.

“I am grateful for the support of our community and investors. Our first year has been a warmup and we can’t wait to unveil what we’re building at Nothing during the upcoming event,” he added.

The company said it would announce its 2022 roadmap later this month.
