Mining conglomerate NMDC produced 4.31 million tonnes (MT) of iron ore in February and reported revenue of 3.97 MT.

Compared to last year’s production of 3.86 tons and sales of 3.25 tons, this was an increase of 11.7% and 22.2%, respectively. These are the best production and sales figures for February since the beginning, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.

Production and revenue for the first eleven months of the fiscal year totaled 37.18 MT and 36.57 MT, respectively, up 26% and 25.5% from the same period last year, India’s top iron ore producer said.
