India’s world champion captain MS Dhoni gave Holi to the people of Ranchi. Dhoni farmhouse will remain open to the general public for three days on the occasion of Holi as anyone can visit the farmhouse in Sembo on March 17th, 18th and 19th and buy vegetables and strawberries. It is said that 250 gram packets of strawberries will be available for 50 rupees.

Having served India long enough, MS Dhoni is enjoying life after international retirement. After his retirement he devoted himself intensively to farming on his 43 hectare farmhouse in Chambo near Ranchi in Jharkhand. The farm, officially known as Eeja Farms, also houses dairy cattle and poultry.

MS Dhoni grows strawberries, papaya and guava, watermelon, peas, peppers, fish and wheat on a large scale in this farmhouse. Roshan Kumar, Dhoni’s agriculture adviser, told Peppystores that Mahi has a keen interest in agriculture and the former captain of India visits the farmhouse from time to time and works in the fields. In addition to fruit, he also grows vegetables on a large scale.

Although retired from international cricket, Dhoni continues to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and leads the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). In the 2021 IPL, he led the team to their fourth IPL title win. He has been signed by CSK for IPL 2022 while he has expressed his desire to play his last match at CSK’s home stadium, MA Chidambaram (Chepauk) Stadium in Chennai.

MS Dhoni will wear the #7 for CSK in IPL 2022 as the four-time champions look to defend their title. CSK will kick off their season on March 26 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium against last year’s Kolkata Knight Riders.
