Mumbai police said on Wednesday they had registered an FIR against thugs for allegedly attacking the parked Delhi Capitals team bus.

“An FIR has been registered against 5-6 unknown persons under IPC Sections for allegedly attacking the parked bus of Delhi Capital IPL team, police said,” ANI tweeted.

Notably, the Delhi Capitals had unveiled their new Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 kit last week. Delhi took to social media to take a look at their new kit, which is a nice improvement on their kit from last season.

Delhi shared a video of the unveiling of their new kit, letting their captain Rishabh Pant, fast bowler Anrich Nortje and new signing David Warner pose with the new kit on Saturday.

The Delhi Capitals will kick off their 2022 10-team IPL season against five-time champions Mumbai Indians at Brabourne Stadium on March 27, a day after the opening match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders
