IPL 2022: CSK rope in Ireland pacer Josh Little as a net bowler

Ireland pacer Josh Little will join Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as a net bowler ahead of the upcoming 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

“Congratulations to Josh Little as he embarks on a development opportunity with the Chennai Super Kings in the early stages of the upcoming IPL. The net bowler experience for CSK should be fantastic,” tweeted Cricket Ireland.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for IPL 2022 on Sunday. A total of 70 league games and 4 playoff games will be played over a period of 65 days. Season 15 begins on March 26 at Wankhede Stadium with a blockbuster clash between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.

On March 27, the league will host its first double-header game, starting with a day game in Brabourne where the Delhi Capitals take on the Mumbai Indians. DY Patil Stadium will host the clash between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at night.

There will be 12 doubleheaders in total, with the first match starting at 3:30pm IST. All evening games begin at 7:30pm IST. The final game of the league stage will be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings on May 22nd at Wankhede Stadium. The schedule for the playoffs and finals of the IPL 2022, which will be played on May 29th, will be announced later.
