Infosys has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Oddity, a Germany-based digital marketing, experience and commerce agency, in a €50 million cash deal, the company said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.

Acquisition costs would include earn-out, management incentives and bonuses, the filing said.

The acquisition would strengthen Infosys’ creative, branding and experience design capabilities and demonstrate Infosys’ continued commitment to working with clients and helping them navigate their digital transformation journey, they said.

“We are on the threshold of the next generation of the Internet, the merging of the physical and virtual worlds. With Oddity’s expertise in digital commerce and marketing and its Metaverse-enabled facility, it is the perfect complement to Infosys’ capabilities in technology transformation,” said Infosys President Ravi Kumar S.

Oddity has more than 300 digital experts in Stuttgart, Berlin, Cologne, Belgrade, Shanghai and Taipei.
