Indian leg spinner Rahul Chahar tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Ishani at a grand ceremony in Goa on Wednesday. The 22-year-old took to social media to share photos from his wedding amid messages of congratulations pouring in for the cricketer and his wife.
“We complement and complement each other. We cannot thank our family and friends enough for making this day so special. Also a big thank you to all the Goa team for making this wedding a dream,” Rahul Chahar wrote on social media. Share pictures from the wedding.
Rahul Chahar wore a pearly white sherwani while Ishani wore a blue lehenga as the couple were undoubtedly the center of attraction at their wedding ceremony.
Rahul Chahar also shared a video of her mehendi ceremony and said: “The start of the semifinals of Forever with this colorful mehndi took place last night. As we say, love blooms!”
Rahul Chahar, who represented India in last year’s T20 World Cup, will be part of the Punjab Kings PBKS at IPL 2022.
Chahar has played an ODI and 6 T20Is for India in his burgeoning career.
Notably, Rahul’s cousin brother Deepak Chahar had proposed to his girlfriend Jaya Bhardwaj after a 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL) game in Dubai. Chahar, who proposed to his girlfriend, was caught on camera as the pacemaker, dressed in the colors of the Chennai Super Kings, proposed to applause from his teammates and the crowd at the stadium in Dubai.
