Niroshan Dickwella was the next man to leave when Bumrah fired him to register his first 5-wicket haul at home while Ashwin picked up a couple of wickets to bowl the Lankans for 109. SL managed to add just 23 runs in 35 balls on Day 2 and handed India a massive 143-run first-innings lead.
Sri Lanka were knocked out for the second-lowest total in Test cricket against India in the first innings of day two of Sunday’s day-night Test in Bengaluru. Angelo Mathews was the top scorer with 43 while Niroshan Dickwella added 21.
