The mortgage bank HDFC Ltd. has announced “Spot Offer on WhatsApp”, a platform that will allow potential borrowers to get approval for a home loan, in principle, instantly.
HDFC has partnered with Cogno AI to develop the solution, built on the WhatsApp Business Platform, to offer conditional home loan approval in minutes, the lender said.
Users need to initiate a conversation on HDFC WhatsApp number (+91 98670 00000) and provide some basic information in a few clicks through a guided conversation flow. Based on the information entered by the customer, a provisional/conditional home loan offer is promptly prepared. This facility is available to employed Indian nationals.
