Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) major CavinKare has strengthened its dairy portfolio by offering “high protein” cheeses under its flagship brand Cavin’s. The new product will be available in slice, spread and block variants. With this offering, the brand also plans to expand its position as one of the top 3 players in the consumer segment, CavinKare said in a statement.
To expand its market presence and gain a foothold in the dairy segment, Cavin’s has various offerings such as yoghurt and butter in the pipeline. It also plans to launch cheeses in various exotic and local flavors in all major markets across India.
Block cheese and cheese spread will be available in 200g priced at ₹160 and 180g priced at ₹120, while sliced cheese will be available in 100g priced at ₹90 and 480g priced at ₹400.
