The National Stock Exchange (NSE) said on Monday that transmission in the Nifty and Bank Nifty indices resumed as normal after prices in the two indices stopped being updated in early morning trading.

In a statement, the NSE said transmissions resumed as normal across all indices.

Share prices were no longer updated in real time on the NSE in early morning trading.

The exchange had previously said: “Trading in all segments is functioning normally. However, Nifty and Bank Nifty indices are not broadcast at times. The exchange is working to resolve the issue and will keep members informed.” .

The online brokerage house Zerodha had also complained about the problem on Twitter.

“There is an issue with data feeds for NSE shares from all members’ exchanges. Please check 20 market depth before placing orders or place orders on BSE,” Zerodha tweeted.

In a separate statement, rival exchange BSE said it was operating normally.
