“Kohli will not score 100 points in his 100th test. He will score 45 (100) with 4 great cover drives and then Embuldeniya will knock over his stumps and he will pretend to be shocked and will nod his head in disappointment,” the user wrote in at 12:46 AM on Friday the social media.

Sehwag took his official Twitter name and responded to the user’s eerily accurate prediction of Kohli’s innings in his 100th Test. “Wow,” Sehwag wrote on Twitter. India mainstay Virat Kohli was out by 45 points in his 100th Test against Sri Lanka. Kohli fell to left-arm spinner Lasith Embuldeniya as the ball spun past his racquet, interfering with the stumps. Just as the user had predicted, Kohli stood in disbelief before making the long walk back to the pavilion.

Kohli, 33, went out to bat to great cheers from the crowd in the northern Indian city of Mohali, and every run made by the right-handed batter, who racked up more than 8,000 tests in his innings, was applauded. Kohli looked solid during his time at center, hitting five boundaries during his tap. Kohli added 90 runs for the third wicket with Hanuma Vihari before being dismissed for 45.

He was also congratulated by the home board before the start of the game, with great hitter and current Indian coach Rahul Dravid presenting him with a commemorative hat and souvenir in the presence of his wife Anushka Sharma, a Bollywood actress.

Rohit Sharma was the first wicket to fall for India when he fell out for 29 at his first batting as Test captain. Rohit hit six fours in his 28-ball innings and added 52 in the opening stand with Mayank Agarwal before finding the deep-legged fielder with a hook shot from fast bowler Lahiru Kumara.
